I use to live in Bangkok. I would go to Poipet often for visa runs. It is a very very rough and poor village. Soooo many street children. It's very sad.

Cambodia's government should sacrifice more for their own people .

Wow, it’s 2025 and Cambodia is still so poor and economy is still very bad for a country since Pol Pot! What is the government not doing to help it’s people? Living under $10 a day, who can live like that? Especially when they have so many kids to feed? Thank god for these people like “Friends” that can help. We need more of these kind people in this world 💙💚❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I spent 4 years recently living in northeastern thailand and would cross the border up top right into cambodia now and then and the cambodians had MANY children and adults once you entered in cambodia begging/ coming up and asking for money etc. 😢 just one the Cambodian side they were all present. The thai side was empty of people.

Cambodia were once an Empires territories ,nearly bigger than the sizes of Byzantine Empire. Unfortunately through multiple invasions since histories du to neighboring people Cambodia territorials were raids and looted. Nowadays Cambodia remain a small country .

If King Jayavarman listened to his close advisers to mobilize instead of fooling around with villagewomen then cambodia could’ve expanded way far and the king, realizing all the neighbors and even the fractured mongol empire is weak, not invade? still puzzles me

"Street" children? Why are these people breeding? Breeding beyond your own resources is EVIL. If you KNOW you cannot provide food, shelter, education, and healthcare for a child, why are you having one? It is plain evil. That is not a "parent."

@@personalelorenzo6922of course it is worldwide. I’m living with a poor family in the Dominican Republic. Fortunately with my contribution to rent and food they are able to get by fairly well. I bought a large freezer which they put frozen ice cream that their children sell at the nearby army base. Recently we’ve employed neighbors children to sell ice cream as well. It makes me happy that those children can buy clothing and sandals with the money that they make. Otherwise, since most of them are extremely poor they might be begging on the streets instead.

21:41 so sad to see these kids sniffing glue to avoid being hungry! I thought that this drug method was ancient, but it seems like it’s still the cheapest way to get high! These poor kids, no adults to love and care for them. ❤️🩹💔
