I keep getting ask about this question so I will comment regarding this. Street fighter 5 Champion Edition came out in February 2020; a few months before season 5 was announced so when you purchase SF5 Champion Edition, you’ll be getting all the content up to season 4. Buying a physical copy of SF5 champion edition has all the downloaded content via a code on the box. So you’ll have to buy season 5 pass separately or you can buy a digital bundle of SF5 champion edition that comes with season 5 via PS Store and Steam for $60.

Easily the best official Street Fighter roster up to date. So many fan favorites both new and old are all in this game alone. I’m honestly concerned on how Street Fighter VI is gonna do their roster, because this is gonna be hard to beat unless they add in another 20 or so characters on top of it. Street Fighter IV was pretty close in terms of roster size as well and wasn’t a slouch itself, but I think this one genuinely has the better overall picks. I swear, if we don’t get characters like Rainbow Mika and Dudley back, *there’s gonna be some serious problems...* (Jk, but come on)

@@DMH3928 yikes 😬 because all the rest of the content is on a code alongside the disc so that code must have been used. Since you already have the disc it will cost $25 to get the upgrade or $50 if you want get all the content alongside the season 5 stuff

It’s best to buy the game digital. There is a $60 bundle that has Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition and the season 5 pass together which comes with everything you see on this video (expect for certain costumes and Capcom Pro stages)

Buying Champion Edition physically gives you all the content from 2016 until season 4. So the season 5 pass isn’t included unless you buy the Japanese exclusive SF5 All Character pack physical version

By continuing playing the game you can earn fight money to unlock stages. However when you buy SF5 Champion Edition, it automatically unlocks all the stages from season 1-4. The CTP stages although are not included in Champion edition so you’ll have to pay them as part of the CTP DLC packs
