It's cause Tekken took it's spotlight. It's been hiding in it's shadow since the first Tekken game. But at least they rereleased VF5 though, which I'm happy for

@@vDeadbolt VF was more popular than Tekken up until VF3/Tekken 3. VF2 was very popular and was far better looking than Tekken 2 and was more refined as well. Tekken became more popular mainly because VF3 didn't have a home port for like 3 years because it was so graphically advanced that the Saturn couldn't handle it and SEGA had to wait until the Dreamcast. Meanwhile Tekken 3 had already been out on the PS1 for a year at that point.

Man VF2's character select will always be the most iconic to me, VF1's is a close second. But my FAVORITE was always VF4 Vanilla's. Gotta say tho, VF 5 Ultimate Showdown's is quickly growing on me to be one of my favorites.

The series would’ve 26 default fighters (excluding Dural) if Sega Japan gave AM-2 the extra budget and work force for Final Tuned (2), 5R (1), Final Showdown (2), and Ultimate Showdown (2).

yeah tbh virtua fighter should of had way more characters than what they have and also having dural playable im not sure if she is though, for me virtua fighter 2 should of had 12 instead of 10, virtua fighter 3 tb should of had 18-19 instead of 12 and virtua fighter 4 should gone into the mid 2's mark. maybe possible if the budget was right for them they could of gotten to maybe over 30 characters in 5

I never liked Virtua Fighter A friend of mine had VF4 Evolution on PS2 and we played some Battles with a another bunch of friends. I remember i was the worst Player among them cause i just couldnt deal with this games feel and speed i rather prefered Capcom vs snk 2,Soul Calibur 2 and Guilty Gear X at that time.

I disagree, i've always loved VF's logo, especially for the first 3 games. Maybe that's because i grew up seeing it all the time because i was always playing the games. Even being completely objective it's far from "the worst logo in all of gaming". I don't see how it's even close to that.
