Dont wanna defent LTG but i kinda dont agree with this mindset. There are online strategies that are just cheese. Tekken remembers who you palyed against and your win rate against them. I now have over 200h and got an ok high rank. New pc and everything and my rank got reseted (since tekken stores ranks locally). I had to grind up again and you know who I found? People i lost to still in low ranks just trying to cheese others and not learning anything. People with over 1000 wins still down there. The only thing they tried are cheese starts which now i wont lose against. But all i said doesnt count to high level gameplay like this video. Just in low level the better player doesnt always win

He wasn't pushing him to the corner he walked himself into the corner. If you want to up your play then don't walk back no matter what character you play. Every guile or dhalsim worth their skill know to just walk behind a light boom or to teleport and meaty after every knockdown. That's why slower fireballs are better in neutral they'll stop your opponent from moving forwards the longest and it'll force them to jump or you to walk forwards for free. That's why he used ice fireball more than fire. the corner is a counter to every character

Man, I have gotten a lot better about raging in competitive video games for the most part, although I have never been a "toxic" type. Just seeing this video makes you realize that when you're in a game, the best thing you can do is keep calm and take a learning attitude. I really respect VesperArcade because he is clearly trying to learn and have a good time. He even goes as far to compliment his opponent when he sees they make a good read or good move. LTG on the other hand, all I can say is that if that's how the juxtaposition of a calm player and a rager looks like, I most definitely do not want to be a player like him.
