its easily my favorite part about this OST so far. alot of the old SF music is amazing in its own way but this one is really leaning into making sure each character theme REALLY feels personalized to fit their specific character and nationality like the indian style vocals and beats with Dhalsim or how Blankas theme just RADIATES brazilin energy

That's the thing with these tracks. They are meant to be the character's literal mood for most of the time. For some, it's going to be fighting, for others they might enjoy spending some time appreciating their culture (Dhalsim, Blanka, Honda) or just focused on their own lives (Kimberly, Ken, Manon). Heck, some of them have even changed goals and have other things in mind (Guile, Ryu) Yeah, some may miss when every single theme was a fighting one, but I welcome this change since people can just look at the 1000th remix of Guile's theme whenever they want.

Capcom with another banger! While some of the themes for old characters can feel out of place at first, like Guile's, once you go through them all it starts being cohesive and in tone for what the characters represent in this game specifically. What do I mean: I'm more than sure that this theme describes character very precisely, it has delicate and charming moments, same as it has impactful beats and likeable french electro house and I'd like to dance somewhat while listening. But am I interested to hear it while fighting - nah, so far not. And it's strange. Guile's theme isn't that slappy, but in beta it's sounds SO cool. I hope I'll change my opinion when I hear it in a game.
