Very glad that SF devs went the full way adopting the approach of redesigning all chars and then offer classic outfits as extra. That must be the standard in the industry. That shows more effort from the devs, that no longer rely on the safety of classic outfits; stimulates their creativity so they can grow like the genius fg devs from the 90s; shows a commitment to move forward and not stick to the past; gives more to look up for in the sequels, even for obvious returning veterans. MK is an important example of that practice because it had regular redesigns since the 90s sprite era.
