raising it will give you more fuel passing by the needle-- for the same amount of air being let through by the slide.-- so you are making it more rich.

I'd recommend buying a dynojet jet kit. You said something about a jet kit. I got a dynojet jet kit for my zx6 and man did it open my bike up. The throttle response is great and has plenty of power

Not sure why you did the shimming. I have the 1100D as a street fighter. Never had any power problems low or high revs on a standard setup. The only thing that has occurred is the bowl pressure hoses sucks in crap and will eventually block your idle circuit. I still have mine facing forward going inside the ram pipes. I know they have a filter junction, but it's not fine enough

What's the best way to remove the washers when they fall into the open carbs? I'm guessing if its just one or two, it should be ok.

I did ram air intake on my yamaha R1 carb but at almost full throtle its a bit weak like its lean mixture what can i do?

Got a couple question for ya... would this work on my 91? And my bike I laided it down almost year ago n now I got it running it has a hard idle n struggles to run at 3gs or more n will bog down n die (no matter if choke is on or off)...unless throttle is backed off....

Man I love these zzr ninjas but I got one now still with airbox but I went street fighter( no cash for plastic shit) anyhow I tried everything and at high speed it just wanted to bog down like an 80 mph governor at first I thought not enough airflow but it reved up great sitting still and would take off like a rocket 1st 2 and and 3rd but bout the time I caught 4th it would begin losing power and by 5th it was bogging badly so today after more adjusting n closing off airbox n carbs it got better high speed but no good in low gear now I should mention the 5 dollar air intakes I'm using are the apple style plastic eBay specials so as a last ditch effort I put a piece of duct tape over em blocking about 3/4 of the airflow also removed the plugs on the box where the mounting bolts are n left em open and oh man at around 2 3/4 turns out on the three adjustment screws ( tho the 3rd one is around 2 1/4) this thing runs like its suppose to I still think I'm going to a pod or k&n set up later but is running it like this gonna hurt it cause at the other end it don't seem to come back down as quickly as it shud I'm starting to think maybe a float or something sticking also i have both lines that feed into the top just hangin open for vacume lines (all guesswork n youtube)i got the line from my pump running into the middle inlet on the bottom i dont even know if thats even correct. just built this thing last year practically from scratch n eBay ( my first one) but it seems to be getting hotter than it should hell man right when I think I got it a new issue arises but I don't know man maybe you could visit my page just click my profile n shoot me a few suggestions almost beginning to think the one I got to begin with was the best advise to just sell it n get a fuel injected bike but I'm 45 and old school fuckin hard headed never let shit beat me type of idiot but need some clue lol

Honest question since I have a 2001 and am motorcycle illiterate for the now is there any other fix besides this for this boggy issue that's equally as cheap and effective for the dumb ass I am 🤣
