Shin Akuma is much faster and stronger, throws multiple aerial fireballs, and a handful of other upgrades compared to Akuma. He's the best.

It is akuma fighting at full power and oni form is akuma giving into the satsui no hado in which he is basically a mindless killer like kage . Akuma normally holds back and when he is serious that is basically shin . Btw since he has more damage than normal he also has lower life than akuma check svc 2 for that . In addition to this, just an FYI the regular akuma has lower than normal health by a bit (takes more damage) and shin akuma has even lower life. An example of normal life would be ryu

Shin Akuma is actually one of the weakest characters in SFA3. Its a balance issue. He's faster than many other characters, and can cancel almost any special with his dragon punch (just watch out for Chun Li's "original" Spinning Star Kick. It can penetrate the Dragon Punch). His weakness doesn't bother me. Shin is the boss!

Between almost full screen Ashura senkuu and half screen Instant hell murder, double fireballs, a hurricane kick that can have its trajectory changed depending on how you swipe through the D-Pad, Shin Akuma is broken even on difficulty 8.

I know I've put at least 2k hours into this particular version, and probably @ 6-7k my whole life. I might sound like a bullshitter but that's not the case. I'm also pretty good at Streetfighter EX. But haven't played it in @ 2 years.

I'm not bitching dude. I've just played this game enough to know that there is alot more you can do to be better than that. Use the air roll grab, and get better timing. I've been playing Streetfighter games since 1992. Played almost all of them. The best I've ever done was going 4 3-5 round matches getting all perfects except a round where I had to block a special move, on hard (obviously).

The PS1 version of this is much better than the PS2 "collection" or "anthology" or whatever hell version had the Alpha SF's on it. But it doesn't have the better Dynamic battle which is a little 'awww' :(

That wasn't showing off. If I were to record that I guarantee, it would only take one try and there would be quite a few Perfects. The only difference is that I would have the game on 3-5 round matches, and no starting-with-MAX-super BS! Any real street fighter fan knows that the AI get harder by round 3.

man the ps1 version of this game looks like crap compared to the saturn, dreamcast, ps2 and psp version of this game but atleast it's better than the gameboy advanced version where that one doesnt have the awsome announcer and soundtrack.
