Raul Julia was fantastic in this film. He did this movie for his children, who were massive Street Fighter fans. He knew he was dying whilst he made it, but he gave it everything for his kids. We owe him massive respect for that.

RAUL JULIA did to this movie what BELA LUGOSI, VINCENT PRICE, CHRISTOPHER LEE and PETER CUSHING did for so many films: MADE something that could be conplete CACA, into something memorable.

This seems weird, but the amount of emotion that Bela Lugosi put into the “Home? I had no home…” in “Bride of the Monster” (his last completed movie before his death). That line reading really came from a real place for someone who couldn’t return to Communist Hungary (his home country) and was typecast in Hollywood due to his thick accent. The movie sucks (Ed Wood *did* direct it after all), but that moment is emotionally affecting for me. Same goes for Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and Vincent Price. Christopher Lee’s last movie released in his lifetime was “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” (a mixed bag for me) and Peter Cushing’s was “Biggles: Adventures in Time” (a total turkey). At least Vincent Price’s last theatrically released movie was a certifiable classic, “Edward Scissorhands”.

I love this, one of the best comedies I saw as a kid made me and my dad laugh. Raul Julia was great, really held this movie together, even enjoyed Wes Studi. If you're a Street Fighter fan, you are levels of pissed I can't even imagine.

27:55 Yeah so I looked it up, that "White guy with the headband" his actual name is Gregg Rainwater and he actually IS a Native American, specifically Cherokee and Osage along with being Irish and fillipino. So yeah, me thinks you guys might not wanna judge based on appearances.

Been waiting for this! Honestly, I think I have more fun laughing with and against this movie than re-watching Mortal Kombat or other VG movies. But still. RIP Raul Julia. He did this role for his kids. And it's his last movie....
