In my opinion, Balrog [Mike Bison] was meant to be played without jumping. If you were a REAL master of this character, your need to jump was mitigated by Balrog's reach, and rapid-fire attack pattern. Why? Because Balrog is a boxer patterned after Mike Tyson. When Balrog was controlled by the computer, he would relentlessly smother you with a barrage of punches, never giving you a second to get your bearings, and before you knew it, the fight was done. And this is how Mike Tyson would eliminate his opponents irl. But to control Balrog, in the same way the computer played him, took expert timing. You would have to throw a succession of jabs or medium level punches to keep your opponent pinned in the corner and then finish off each combo with a power punch. If the opponent tried to jump, hit em' w the uppercut. And then, while you were hitting them w these combos, the whole time you would be charging that turn punch. And this was hard to do, because you had to train yourself to keep three fingers locked on three of the top or bottom buttons, all while continuing to fire off combos with the other three buttons. [Much easier said than done!] That turning punch when charged up, could WRECK your opponents life bar, and by working that punch into the rhythm of your attacks, you could really throw off your opponent's timing. This is why I have always considered Balrog to be an expert class character, because to use him correctly, you really had to profoundly understand the timing of the game.
@Jan610834 жыл бұрын
Balrog is not my main character, but he would really be a spectacle if he didn't need to load the blows and it would be possible to press, as I said, just like the CPU.

Balrog Height: 6 ft 6 ((198 cm)) Weight: 298 lbs ((135 kg)) Background: Rising from a childhood poverty, Balrog was once a great boxing champion and a prize fighter who fought his way from the bottom up since he could learn to brawl. Due to his somewhat cutthroat and ruthless nature gained on the streets, however, he was banned from boxing in his career for permanently injuring his opponents and accidentally killed one ((as well as his illegal maneuvers, including his headbutt)). Though he enjoyed great fame, especially in his residence in Las Vegas, Nevada, he adored the money more than his glory, so he joined the Shadaloo criminal organization and worked his way up from the bottom, eventually he became M, Bison's chief enforcer

You know it doesn't matter which discipline you practice, any fighting style is good but it depends on how you perform in it, boxing is very complete and is quite useful when fighting in the street.

Eso era típico en los 90, a veces yo tampoco tenía para jugar y de hecho muchos niños miraban cuando otros niños jugaban, o a veces alcanzaba para una sola ficha no mas,
