Ryu and Ken: of course when they uppercut it’s “Shoryuken”. Then of course, there is the infamous “Hadouken”. But, when they hit the hurricane kick it’s sounds like gibberish. But what they are really saying if you listen closely is “ Tatsumaki Senpu Kick” you may not hear the “I” in Tatsumaki but it’s there. I wondered why they would replace “Kyaku” which in Japanese means “Kick”. Maybe because of restrictive reasons. Anyway, I could not understand when I was younger what they were saying for a long time lol.

@SaitoGaming5 жыл бұрын
@@jeffreynanatakyicollins101 No, they are not. They were both trained in the art of the Ansatsuken (literally "assassination fist") by Gouken, since they were little, so they are childhood friends and rivals. In SF1, Ryu is P1 and Ken is P2, which means that Ryu starts from the left side and Ken from the right side of the screen for the rest of the game. Their moves are exactly the same. In SF2, Ryu and Ken movesets are the same (except for one of Ken's throws) until SF2 Champion Edition came out, where Ken's Shoryuken and Tatsumaki were changed a bit.
