There is something about Gill's stage that gives me chills. It really feels like a final confrontation between a mortal and a deity. I get that's the points but all of the symbolism in this one stage is intense. I hope that a stage like this returns in SF6.

nope 4 is before 5 and 5 is before sf3 new generation the we have sf3 second impact and then sf3 third strike which is the final game in the storyline capcom should have ended the story of ryu and ken by making a fourth part to the story of the 3 games but they wanted to go back just because they wanted to make more money by extending the story which was totally unnecessary because IV has a lot of stuff that isn't canon like Oni....... if only Capcom wasn't so greedy and finished the story Ryu was supposed to never appear in other SF game after they ended this story to make Alex into the new main character.

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!! I remember staying up till 4am trying to beat this guy back in the Dreamcast days. He was insanely hard.....he is definitely a theat if you take him head on. No one in the game can take him fighting regularly. You have to use a strategy like this to beat him or you may not win.

Um, I remember playing it and my cousin said the SAME thing on the HARDEST SETTING. Gill NEVER transformed. Then FINALLY going back to see it, I finally saw him resurrect. It was amazing. How he did not transform the first times I player, I don't know. So, please stop with the bickering. Just a heads up to anyone interested, according to Street Fighter Wiki, using Akuma’s Kongou Kokuretsu Zan attack (the ground punch super) will knock Gill straight out of his supers if the whole thing connects and instantly KO him right out of Resurrection if you hit him with it fast enough.

They should seriously make Gill a playable character in Street Fighter V (*spoiler yes I know he appears in the game but only near the end of the story mode and he's not playable*) I mean I think there are no other characters who use ice attacks in fact I believe he's the only one, There are characters that use fire, characters who use electricity, some even use ki with no elemental effects in at least one of their attacks, and heck one even uses poison. And yet there are no other characters who use ice as part of their moveset is Capcom seriously afraid that a character that uses only ice attacks will possibly get compared to Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat and/or get sued by the company (or creators of the series) for copyright infringement? I mean it really annoys and bothers me.

First I use the single hit dragon punch to counter his jump attack to initially knock him down and then I get right up to him and do it with the three hit over and over. When he resurrects use the spinning kick to stop him from regaining life. This can be done with Akuma or Ken.

It looked great and everything and I remember it being the first SF to have come out after so many years of no SF's being released. But there was a stun move in which you had to hold down two buttons simultaneously and time it just perfectly because it took a couple of seconds to charge before it could strike your opponent and that was what really did it for me and turned a die hard SF fan into an "ok time to see if KoF has any new releases" fan. LOL. To your point it was as if they were trying too hard to appeal to the masses (or the whatever fans) and introduce an entirely new fight system instead of just building onto what was already working. And yes Gill is still the best!!!

It just went to *Shit* after that. Using the *Joystick* to *Parry* was *Great.* I *Feel* your *Frustration.* What made it *Great* and *Diversive* is that You had *New* Characters *introduced.* But I don't see how they can *Introduce* *"Cody"* from *Final Fight* and other *Nonsense* characters. But Not *Axel* from *"Streets Of Rage"* and *Fan's* talking *Snap* about *Axel Stone* Not *"Winning against Cody"* because he's *"Not in Street Fighter"* But You're going to tell Me that a *Pink TGirl* could *Beat* the *Rest* of the *Characters* from *Street Fighter* just because it's *Capcom Property.* Yeah *Sure.* Doesn't *Make* it a *Fair Fight* Though I was *Waiting* to see *Axel Stone* on the New *Street Fighter VII* since *SOR4* came out *Not Too Long ago* It would've been *EPIC.* And *Bringing* Great *Antagonist* such as *Yujiro* would've been *Great* to put him as the Real *Final Boss.* just like the *KOF* Twist of *Evil Rugal* Then You have "Pretty Lips" *"Baki"* and *Kengan Ashura* along with *Megalobox* But it's the same *Dull Crap* with *Ryu* trying to just *Channel* his *Divine Perfection* on being the *Best Fighter* he can be. But there's *No Character Development* No *Love Interest* When *Sakura* has been *Thirsting* for him since *Day One* *"Chun Li"* has been *Intrigued* by him since the *Alpha Days* Which *Now* here *eggs* have *shriveled* past *beyond* this *Point* so I *don't* know what she's *waiting* for, for *"Jesus"* ? im not entirely sure if you ever plan on playing third strike again but keep in mind akuma's taunt builds damage, (if you care) you'd get more points for beating him with a special of some sort. since it seemed like you were playing on easy you'd have been able to land the kongou kokuretsu zan since the easy mode AI is pretty dumb in important situations. not that you need to take the advice or practice more, just a little tip if you ever plan on playing this on a harder difficulty
