This code thing is crap. Hopefully, one day they'll release an edition that has all the characters, stages and costumes neatly packaged on a single disc. Microsoft did it with Killer Instinct, albeit 3 newer DLC characters are not on that disc.

Yeah wish they did it all on disc like MK did, but I think they give you a code so you don't create multiple Fighter IDs maybe. I imagine Champion Edition will be like this too with DLC codes. But it really sucks if more than one person uses your PS4, since it's not all on disc only one PSN account gets to use the codes included. There might be a way to get round it like family or game share, but I'm not sure if that would work.

Dlc is tied to every profile. You can't let your little brother or friend or whatever play as the dlc characters. That's why it sucks.

Yes the Arcade mode is induced as a free update, only the characters are DLC.

Angel Army2 do you realize that 1.- if you own vanilla game you get only the update that adds new modes and character rebalancing, not characters themselves. And 2.- if you buy arcade edition, you do get the charactes as dlc, so if you lend your copy of the arcade edition to your brother, your neighbor, your friend or whomever, they are actually getting a vanilla copy of the game, and they won't be able to use any of those 12 characters until they either unlock them after days upon days of playing or they pay actual money for them, that's what's bullshit, if they are advertising this as an upgraded edition, all that stuff should be in the actual fucking disc. And all this not to mention the fact that season 3 characters will be dlc too despite all of them being in the fucking intro of the arcade edition, all just so Capcom can get more moneys from casual players dumb enough to fall for that shit
