Oni is akuma when he is consumed by the hado itself. In other words akuma's ending in this game is he fights a Pandora version of oni... meaning akuma is fighting the hado itself

Another reason why I love this trailer is because, Akuma is representing his team especially in all those before trailers were street fighter got handled by tekken cast, this was the final showdown, Street Fighter vs Tekken and Akuma backed up his team and won the final trailer! ultimately redeeming street fighter losses in previous trailers and winning the battle

From what I remember seeing was that they both had fought eachother to a stalement that lasted 500 years with no definite outcome. Obviously both fought each other with everything they had and then some. We won't know who the true winner is until the next episode. But you have to admit that was one hell of a fight. The fact that akuma was able to fight toe to toe with a god like asura is proof that he is a god in his own right. They both are equally badass in my opinion.

@Umz15824 Yeah in the first SF x Tekken trailer, Jin was looking for Ryu but Kazuya found him first with his foot on Ryu face. Then Ryu's eyes turned red and kicked Kazuya off. It was Ryu and Ken vs Nina and Kazuya in the first trailer. My hunch is I think Jin might want to know how Ryu suppresses Satsui No Hadou. Lol. But I could be wrong.

And hadoken isn't a techniqoe because it's only a controlled rellease of aura? In that ending, he himself called the relleasing of the aura by a name, I think this makes it pretty much a technique. He also was in a pose that makes it look like a technique.

If Asura wasn't wasn't holding back at all he would cause Akuma to explode in one punch. Besides Asura is also possibly a planet buster in his Mantra form. And he only uses that form when he finds an opponent too strong he won't use his Destructor form because that he fights with honor.

Those wings are disadvantage. The time it takes to transform can be the end for Jin/Kazuya if they doesn't do it quickly. And if they managed to transform, can they still match against the agility and strength of the demon himself?

Well, his stamina and defense are only kept at low levels for gameplay balance in VS matches. Akuma is a beast. His story is as much of pwning others like Ogre or any uber-powerful character in the Tekken universe. I love Tekken, but even with all the Devil Genes and Ogres laying around, Akuma could very much emerge victorious ^^

If you go by lore Devil Jin is on the same power lvl as Bison. And since akuma easily ripped bison apart Devil Jin wouldnt be much of a challenge. The reason why its Ogre vs Akuma in this game as the two strongest of both fighting series is that Ogre is in the tekken universe considered the god of fighting, while Akuma is Akuma, but there is no one in the Tekken universe according story wise that holds a candle to Akuma..

He can cause gods to explode in several punches when he needs it, but that's only when he is pushed into his final limits. And did you even play the game? He can't use destructor unless he has the bramastra core and yashas. He wasn't holding back when he couldn't even use that form.

Yes I have played the game. But I don't know if the part where Asura fights ryu and akuma fits in the story. Asura possibly has the Mantra reactor in him but he won't use it unless he fights an opponent as powerful as chakravartin and when he cuts loose Akuma is done for.

Secondly akuma was talking about ryu not giving in to the satsui no hadou because he is afraid of killing and turning evil. Thats why akuma called him weak. Akuma holds back because his fights wouldn't last long if he went all out. Akuma enjoys the thrill of fighting.

He couldn't access his Destructor form, so all he could do was use his Mantra Form, the most powerful form he could obtain by himself. I think Akuma/Oni would have trouble with the Destructor form, but he could still equal Asura in his original and true form.

I felt particularly creative when writing that :D I play Ryu myself and I'd like to say I'm a really good player, and I rarely use hadouken outside of combos, but people have different playing styles even though playing the same character, I guess The spamming of hadouken is an irritating aspect of the game, we share that view, and if you're not playing, it is hard to shut up. But if you have the controller in your hand, the best thing to do is to just fuck them up entirely ;)

@dchero To explain Jinpachi-He is Heihachi's father and is the strongest Tekken Fighter ever. The reason why Jinpachi is Akumas Perfect Match is because Jinpachi has the strength that matches Akumas and Gouken. (He was able to lift an entire building that fell fell right on him or I think it was the ground beneath the building) His Revengeful Ghost is a perfect rival to the Sastui No Hado. Heihachi can fight Gouken.

Havent you seen in blood vengeance when Jin tranforms into his most powerful devil form then appears in front of Kazuya, Jin trys to punch Kazuya but he teleports into the air. Anyway they either move fast or teleport. It doesnt really matter because its a lot faster then what Akuma did in that death video you told me to look up.

First, after seeing SFIV the producer of MK said that was so amazed he switched back to 2D. If you let the opponent get a full screen from, you deserve a couple of fireballs. That said, if you can't jump in>block>Jump again or wavedash, then you deserve to lose. If you're going to SFXT, first Akuma doesn't have a blue FB, he has a red and a purple one. Second, Shoto- Tatsumaki Senpukyaku. Mishima- Mist Step. Gief- Slap dat fireball. Akuma- Asura Senkou. Every character can counter fireballs.

Well yeah technically that whole stamina and defence thing is only for gameplay versus mechanics because akuma was a very powerful character to play with so they had to tone him down. I always believed it was because he was holding back. But yeah you are right.

@ThePredator365 Ogre was the last boss of tekken 3, he then transforms into true ogre, kinda like azazel from tekken 6 but less overpowered with a cooler theme. He is also in tekken tag tournament and tekken tag tournament 2 but only in his true form.

@LesaTube I agree on a level, I mean Jin vs Akuma is a great Matchup and I really could not say who would win mainly because both of them have secondary forms, Jin has the Devil Jin and Akuma has Oni, I mean it would be a tough battle and I have no clue on how it would end. Even though Akuma is probably the strongest fighter in Street Fighter, you could say the same about Jin in Tekken, Jin is legendary for what he has been able to accomplish by the age of 22 (Tekken 6).

I know this convo has nothing to do with but I should add that Jin can't actually die. He will only reanimate into Devil Jin. The only way Akuma could kill Jin is if Kazuya was to cypher the Devil Gene from Jin then Jin is dust because a normal Jin is no different from a normal Ryu

Since when could Devil jin and kazuya teleport ? I think you mean move very fast. And that whole stamina thing is because he's holding back his power. They did that so akuma wouldn't be too broken. O really? Combo's DONT WORK if they are blocked? That's a golden rule in every fighting game. But if you got caught in a combo (my friend is 3rd ranked Jin player of Europe), you can put your controller down, because you are in a almost endless-Tekken combo. What console do you have?

@kayel lushima I would say Jinpahci. And Akuma in his canoncial universe karate chopped an island in half without having to use the Oni form. So, he is a lot more powerful than you give him credit for. Jinpachi would be best because his demon form is one that comes pretty close in power to Oni, which is what the fight would inevitably come down to. Plus, he just kind of looks like a dark Gouken, which is also really cool.
