Just for your information "Soto (soup) Betawi" just enounce as the most delicious soup int the world and number 2 1 is soto "Rawon" from Surabaya. So both the most delicious sop in the world are from Indonesia.

I think that thing that looked like garlic might have been a variety of garlic, just a different shape, but it may also have been a shallot, another relative of the onion. That bean with the red/brown markings is called a Borlotti bean. It's an Italian variety.

its illegal to sell turtle for food. if you report the seller he can get arrested. thats typical chinatown tbh theres usually some black market for stuff like that
