75% of Kenyans? your stats are misleading. 60% of Kenyans live in Rural areas [with better hygienic organic food], 40% live in the cities (Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, 2017), at most only 20% of those in the cities reside in slums. It is this 20% poor that mark decided to visit - majority of Kenyans can't even visit those places he went to, not because of their 'choice of food' but mostly for lack of security

Nope..if you are regularly eating street food your intestinal flora slowly starts to adapt it.. even though minor pathogens are present in food your immune system doesn't react seriously and nothing happens..if any random foreigner or a guy who start to eat street food newly he will suffer more.. because his immune system never encounters that pathogen before and your intestinal flora also not ready to accept..so it's leads to harmful effects..

NADHII TRANSPORT, you are partially correct. If you are accustomed to eating foods served in unhygienic conditions your stomach already has bacteria that will take care of business and you will not get sick. Cooking kills the harmful bacteria, it is the dirty plates, knives, forks, hands, etc. that transmit the bacteria that will cause problems. However, if you are from a developed country and have never been exposed to foods served in those conditions in the video, I can guarantee you will not be going out the next day. When I was a kid, I ate at those places. Today, after many years in the US, I will pass. I don't want stuff happening to me.

As a Mexican, it was really cool seeing how some of these Kenyan dishes were similar to some Mexican dishes. It was thrilling to see other cultures enjoy the same parts of the cow that my culture likes. If anyone is curious of which dishes I'm referring to, it's the cow tongue with chili. In my culture we love to eat cow tongue in tacos with salsa. There was also the dish that had rice and beans with beef stew. In my culture we have a similar dish that is a beef stew that is cooked with tomatoes and green chilies. It is also served with rice and beans.

Wow, I guess we are all one human race, I don't know where discrimination comes from. Imagine that distance apart yet sharing the same culture, it proves we should all live together despite race. Love should be the pillar of human race not colour, man I wish everyone was friendly Even to outsiders, that's how we should live

I appreciate this video. I don't know why people are complaining about it. There are many different sides to Kenya depending on your economic standing and this is just one of them. Sure it isn't fancy, but it serves its purpose. Look at them chugging that thubu. And the mũtura, classic. 👏 👏

Mark was born on 26th February 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona, to a Chinese mom and an American dad. His parents were missionaries, and that meant that Mark moved around a lot as a child. Mark and his family moved to Albertville, France, when he was five years old. The family then moved to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where they stayed for about three and a half years. Mark was homeschooled during this period. The family moved to Nairobi, Kenya, after war broke out in DRC. Mark completed his high school education in an International School in Kenya.
