I'm from central Maryland (not Baltimore) and in a trauma care class I was taking when the instructor asked everyone why they were taking the class, you got the normal "so I can help my family if they're hurt", "I go hiking a lot", and "I want to be able to help if I see a car accident" answers. Then he got to one guy and all he said was, "I work construction in Baltimore". The entire room just nodded and said, "Mhmm, yeah, that makes sense." I grew up in Maryland. In the early 90s we used to take summer trips to the Inner Harbor Baltimore to see the “World Of Wheels” car show (my dad is a street rod guy). It was awesome! Tons of cool shops and food, the aquarium was sick, street performers that were very entertaining, candy shops that would make fudge in their store windows, an amazing food market - we loved going there. The hood was always a little rough (always on the other side of MLK Blvd for some reason) but there was still law and order. Then slowly it started getting worse and worse and the cancer spread to even the “nice” parts of the city. It’s now a straight up drug infested war zone. I wouldn’t set foot in that city if someone paid me. It’s a damn shame too as a lot of it is due to decades crooked politicians and straight up bad policy mixed with poverty and cultural issues. I will say that most of rural Maryland is absolutely beautiful.

I'm a retired officer that worked here in California. As soon as that gun came out of the Pomona suspect's pocket he'd have been lit up. However, there have been some changes in the law (AB 392) since the GF incident. Whereas in the past deadly force was justified if you were reasonably in fear for your life, now you have to articulate that no other alternative means were available before using deadly force. That's why you see officers shooting less lethal bean bags against a suspect with a lethal gun. CRAZY! No one wants to be the test case for this law and end up spending 25 to life in prison because a leftist DA (Pomona is the leftist George Gascon) and liberal jury decided, "Oh, they could have tased, pepper sprayed, or done whatever, first." Except for civilians. Civilians always have to know exactly how many times they shoot in self-defense, and have to re-consider if they're safe after every round fired. "You shot him, could you flee? You shot him again and obviously after the 4th shot you could have fled, that's premeditated homicide. Case closed." THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY MEMBERS, SPECIFICALLY THE JUDGES PROSECUTORS, AND NEWS BROADCASTERS, HATE THE USA!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY ELSE WOULD THEY TURN HABITUAL VIOLENT OFFENDERS INTO VICTIMS OF AN UNJUST CAPITALISTIC SOCIETY AND MAKE THE VICTIMS THE BAD GUYS? THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY PROSECUTORS AND JUDGES ALLOW HABITUAL VIOLENT OFFENDERS TO POST BAIL EVEN IF THE CRIMINAL HAS A HISTORY OF JUMPING BAIL. THEY ALSO GIVE VERY SHORT PRISON TIME FOR THE SAME HABITUAL VIOLENT CRIMINAL KNOWING THE CRIMINAL WILL BE DOING THE SAME THING WHEN HE GETS OUT.

I seen a story the other day out of Texas ….the defenders …defended themselves and “quack “ “quack” the 2 suspects.. He media came on the scene and then said “2 people were breaking into a car and then were “quacked” at from the car owners…… The media forgot to mention that the suspects had already had their fishing poles aimed at the owners of the car….the successful defenders just happened to be father and son and both legally had fishing rods….the media is making it look like the suspects were just breaking into the car…..

Police are inherently bad by the nature of their duty. No man harbors the natural right to dominion over another man. No group of people should have the power to decide how and where another person will spend their days. The 'law' is the arm of subjugation of the demon we consider government. That's why they have immunity. It wouldn't work without it.

@squibbelsmcjohnson most of the time the department pays for it. It's just tax money anyways dude it's not like it's a company that can go broke lol. With that said, on rare occasions you will have swat break down half of your home and it could take months or a year or two to get it figured out. So you suffer while they figure out who pays for it and how and when. It's wild but that's very rare. Usually, you just get a check dude. If you're a criminal and your house gets destroyed. That's on you most of the time lmfao. Every state is also different. I have all sorts of questions that is hard to get answers for. Like in my state if a thief breaks into my house and he breaks my door and he BLEEDS on my floor after i stop him. WHO pays for the blood clean up? IF they do have someone come and clean it. WHO PAYS for my new flooring or carpet. Who fixes my house? Can i sue the dead criminal? Can they use whatever money they have in the bank of the criminal to cover the damage? If someone tries to steal my car and he dies in my car and bleeds everywhere. Who pays me for a new car? lol can i just take dead criminals car and sell it?
