Yes old school. Connection is what it’s all about. Money pit for sure but where else can you get that sort of feeling. Good for the soul to get back on and ride. Just love my old Harley fatboy. Good choice and now you buy another one.

I feel your pain, Carby Twin cams need a little lovin' before you can just head off, thats why I have two bikes!! the superglide is just fun and easy to ride, the Roadking you need to work

2023 CVO Road Glide next? 👍 I have a 21 Pan America, and a 22 Road Glide ST. People always ask which is my favourite/best. I love them both. If I had to choose, I’d stick with the Road Glide. There is just so many options and mods. Plus I’ve spent a bomb getting to where it is. But the Pan Am will leave most other bikes in it’s dust, handles so well around town, on a trip and a little of road that I have done. The tech is also clever!

Having owned a Evo2 Wideglide, 1985 model, a 1997 Softail FXSTC, also a a 88 cube, a 96 cube and a 103 cube Slim, last bike was a Screaming Eagle 2012 Convertible 110 cube, the only M8 I have ridden was a Slim which I rode for the day, I liked it a lot, but I know my 110 cube was much better than the M8's 107.

Forrrrrrk Paul you got me LOL on that scooter. You have raised an interesting subject M8 Evo Twin cam, blacked out. As you know I run a rushmore UL TC staged 4.5 VH Torquers chrome with bag rails and 10" LA Choppers. I was at the lights a dude on his black M8 said you have the real one, I have the Honda one. Left me thinking the Honda one WTF is that, I got it after awhile gliding down the road.....Perfection destroys soul. Would I part with mine .......nope it tickles my soul my friend.

So what you are saying ( I think) is the m8 has no character, no soul .I have a 1988 fxlr I've owned since 1989..Ya gotta love the Evo 5 speed.Yeah OK it doesn't have 120 hp and 12 tons of torque but it scoots along very nicely thank-you very much. The M8 for reliability and power but the EVO for noise IMO. I love my Twin Cam but I can't help but look at the M8's as a good way of making smooth and solid power really cheap!

When I bought my Fatboy new in 2017, I really wanted a CVO Breakout, but they gave me such a great deal on the Fatboy that I bought it, it took 18 months before I got to like it, so dont make any decisions in haste--mull it over for a while longer 👍👍

I'm glad you like the old bike I think there are a lot of smooth,great handling,reliable fast etc...bikes but Harley's aren't really about that they are about the feeling,the sound,the cool factor how you made it it your own and worked out the bugs enough that you are ok if it breaks down cause you reckon you can fix it.all part of living barry

By the sound of it you know where your heart lays. although the Vicla is a cool thing, it is as you said a money pit, why get rid of your street glide when it is the perfect machine spec out for you, you can ride wherever you want for as long and hard as you want, also with your missus. which riding is both your guys thing. it'll be harder to do this on the Vic. at the end of the day it comes down to where you are in your life and what type of riding you wish to do, my vote would be to keep the Street glide

You made the correct decision man, when you started the glide, I thought, I guess it sounds good.....but when you started the evo rk, I thought damn, now thats a fucking harley davidson....lol. that rk is an amazing bike man, and I love the handlebars. I have to get a set like that for my 2004 rk. Great channel man, can't wait to see what you do to the evo next...
