I am just wondering why you kept asking, what their take on Islam is so far... The two are separable. That is why it is named Iran, the land of the Aryans. Which we are not all Muslim. We are of many faiths and the oldest being Zoroastrian and that is what makes Iran such a friendly place as well.. they all live with one another as Persians/Iranians.

i feel sorry for tourists who have to put up with Isfahan and its ghastly cuisine. Please please please, make sure to taste the cuisines of Azerbaijan (the iranian region), Gilan and Mazandaran. Isfahan isn't exactly famous for its food 😑

As a Brit remember how your country screwed us though. 10 million Iranians died due to British made famine during ww1 in Iran and also your oil meddling of 1953 led to our destruction and Khomeini ( w the huge help of USA). . If not for oil of Iran during ww1, UK could be a colony of Russia or Germany.

Persian Amazon -yes I know some awful things have happened in Iran over the decades with various foreign powers meddling in your affairs .What I was trying to express was in spite of all problems and hate - fiiled media let us try to respect each other individually . We may know our / your history but the powers that be never seem to learn from them ! The little man has very little say in what his government does in his name (even in a democracy !!)

Lesley Lofthouse to be honest I'm not even that pissed at Brits. I can't get over what Americans did to us by instating Khomeini. I have been in a deep state of depression ever since the news came out and I'm literally losing it. I can't live w myself. I just can't believe Carter could do that. It's really driving me toward the biggest depression I'm not sure I could survive.
