nice job fellas. If you can't find a spring to go inside the tubes, use sand and plug off the ends. (tape will do).... and you can pull out the back seat, and make the firewall on that side.... it also may stiffen up the body a bit if it's welded in. Cheers !!!

Are you isolating the surge tank and fuel cell from vibration? If you don’t, then the Al lines are going to see all sorts of vibration-induced loads and Al will fatigue/crack (thicker wall will only delay the inevitable). Don’t know if you’re going to be running E85 all the time in this beast, but be aware that Al corrodes when exposed to E85. While the hard line looks nice, you’re better off running flexible lines like the ones Fragola offers.
@vigilante3513 жыл бұрын
Larko is the pit guy (on the whiteboard)! Extremely good bloke, and a treasure for the sport! Fuel system has really gone BIG! As soon as you have a design on paper (whiteboard) the creativity begins pretty nicely!!

Yay, whoopty! Food for thought: if fuel splashes up and sit in the vent line's "curl" it could block - fuel could sit in the bottom of each curl. In heavy industry (gearboxes, sumps etc.) we don't curl vents because of this reason. Not sure if it's an issue for fuel.

Looks great guys ! No whoopties there I can see Did you take the internal burs off from cutting the pipe with the pipe cutter ? The internal burs from the cutter can cause cavitation of the fuel as it passes ! The same happens with water piping and where the cavitation happens can eat away at the internal of the pipe
