My first ever vinyl was "Wish you were here" bought for 50p at the age of 12, was completely mesmerised by the guitar intro and the reason why I learned to play a guitar and still play a bit to this very day. Comfortably Numb is one of Floyd's finest and the second guitar solo is one of the finest ever recorded on vinyl, Marcello plays it almost note perfect and the only reason it's not perfect is because he's not Dave Gilmour, but he's the closest I've heard and I've heard quite a few.....

I was in Tirrenia, province of Pisa, right on the coast between the two cities, Pisa and Livorno. That would have been 70 thru 77. (Age 10 through 17.) Yeah, like I said, I listened to a lot of Floyd myself but never heard it anywhere outside of my bedroom. :)
