Hey my bro! I'm so happy to see this video. I have a few Takumars - the 35 f2. 50 1.4, 105 2.8, and the 135 3.5 And I have to say, i've really struggled to love my 135 for a long time. Seeing this video today has given me hope that I can try find some magic in it. Thanks man!

Hey thanks for sharing. I bought the 135 f2.5 recently and I can't wait to take it out in the wild. I took a few shots in my backyard and it's amazing. I have an old helios which was my moms, the first pictures of me were taken with that. I decided to try in on my fuji using an improvised adapter and I was immediately hooked to that timeless look of vintage lenses. Now I have the 135 takumar and a 300 mm tamron + a couple newer manual prime lenses. People think you need expensive cameras and lenses to take beautiful picture but you can actually do it pretty cheaply. For under $1000 I have now a 16-55mm zoom, 24mm, two 50mm, 135mm and 300mm, all the range i need to play with and all getting me very unique looks.

I get what your saying and is true for me also. Yesterday I received my 135 f3.5 super Takumar and can’t wait try it. It was late and today rainy, but meanwhile I had enjoy watching your comments and your pictures. Nice to see your enthusiasm on photography. Is great to share it.

Same, the Helios is what sparked my interest in vintage lenses as well. Found one on eBay for like $100 from a seller in New York, and love it. I just picked up one of these 135mm on eBay as well and am looking forward to trying it out! Great video!

50mm's are a little awkward on a crop sensor. Works much easier on a full frame.
