Focus has never been an issue in photography. Nobody has ever cared about super sharp pictures in the past (80s and 90s), and the pictures were beautiful anyway. I like your pictures.

I still think Lighter/brighter mode is better with nicer colours, and at times with flash on. Taking photos against the sun is a big no, no ( unless you like a Black Sun anomaly effect). The biggest challenge with this camera having excellent quality recharge batteries and which are fully recharged the night before you go out (discipline). The other challenge is having fully a recharged automatic secondary background flash with you ( that fires half a second after your camera's flash) like a Godox TT600. You're at the mall with your friends having lunch at a cafe and it's during the day, you need that second automatic flash or you wreck the background ( a dull colour) but you forget your Godox.

Just picked one of these up and started bringing it to jobs (event photographer here) everyone asks for pictures from it, and they love the way they turn out. I have learned, however, that the canera/film is not friendly to darker skin tones. My bf is black, and anytime I take his picture I have to pose him in a very bright area

Yes, the camera produces quite dark images in general, most people overexpose when shooting with this camera. And, yes instant cameras love bright environments

For sure Instax wide for simplicity, but also image quality. Older Polaroids if you want to get deeper into instant cameras. I only need one, so Instax Wide for me.

@@DiegoFabro i bought the fujifilm instant mini 40 today. My dad wanted a new smartphone so we went to tye store and i walked around and i saw one. I bought it for 90,99 and i,ve never been so happy whit a instant camera. I,ve never had one. It was so mutch fun shooting photo,s today. I bought 2 packs of 2x 10 films. I am all out of film now😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😅😅😅😅😅😅oeps

The Instax Wide produces darker images than most Instant cameras, which is my preference, but I totally understand you overexposing with the camera

For a Polaroid these pictures are awesome! You can't compare these type of pictures with phones, DSLR or any other digital camera. Polaroid has an vintage vibe that you either like or don't. 🙏

There is a balance of good and bad
