In a civilized place even 🚂steam trains get along with the people.

Only if the steam locomotive does its part by converting to diesel, bc that's one clean af steam loco.

You're right, usually on the plate it'd say its type then the code. Thanks for letting me know though, I never knew 99's existed lol
@EnjoyFirefighting7 жыл бұрын
class 99 is for all narrow gauge steam locomotives from the DR and following RR companies in Germany
@supertrinigamer7 жыл бұрын
That's interesting. What would you say is your favourite locomotive?
@EnjoyFirefighting7 жыл бұрын
I really liked these class 99 locomotives of the Molli Railroad eversince i was a small kid because I grew up with them while visiting my grandparents. Apart from theclass 99 I'm also a fan of the German class 232, the Swedish IORE and DM3 locomotives and the Taurus

Awesome video my friend! I'll give that a big thumbs up!

Thank you! I really like this small narrow gauge RR even though it's hardly known and not really an important one, it's rather a tourist thing

Drivers in us: railroad crossings are infuriating. Also San Francisco: we have cool streetcars Meanwhile in Germany:

:D But tbh I've seen more street-running trains in the USA than I have in Germany.

@EnjoyFirefighting - International Emergency Response Videos The train does streetrunning in Bad Doberan only. Upon leaving Doberan, the track runs on a normal track bed. There is another, short part in Kühlungsborn (Kühlungsborn Mitte station) where the track merges with the street. But this is only for the length of the trainstop.

Well, I didn't state anything else than that ... as soon as it crosses the city limits it merges with the road, that's what I explained

Very good. What on earth is that clanking bell??
@EnjoyFirefighting3 жыл бұрын
they switch on the bell while in motion on the street running section, simply as a train in a one-way street or going down the wrong side of a two way street is a hazard; Also when going the right way, it still can't stop as quick as a car or truck can if they'd ignore the train's right of way. So it's simply a safety precaution to warn all people in the nearby area that there's a train moving down the street

Imagine seeing those rails and thinking some light rail EMU will pass by and then you’re face to face with a 13 foot tall steam locomotive. EDIT: Height is slightly over 11 feet. Should be expected with a 900mm railway.
