Anyone want to buy a R8? 😂 Jokes aside the Porsches are no joke and for the R8 to be running near on similar times with similar power to the M3 isn’t to bad IMO but 100% some tweaking needed for smoother roll/drive. This was the cars first outing, Launch was something I didn’t want to do tbh as it not even on par with the much newer m3 or Porsche. Great day out as always with some great people 🚀

My 800WHP R35 is 4.52, a similar V10 build eats the GTR , so its not running at its best, ES recently published some data on their R8 conversion, but its more like 1100 bhp , its a quick car.

Happy you asked about why the R8 was manually shifting. When he said he has to manually shift it, the results made more sense compared to the others that just let the computer shift. May not have made a big enough difference, but I was wondering the same thing. Great race

Great Race enjoyed it! R8 max 800/850bhp. Needs motec/Syvecs to manage power boost by gear and launch. Bone stock clutch also bit risky. Check the specs on the Porsche to compare. R8 has a lot of potential though.
