Excellent video, Al! Luis explained one very distinct quality that I love about Creed. The crispness of each fragrance allows you to detect each key ingredient. Many fragrances out there have a "muddiness", which stifles the scent. I couldn't agree more - synthetic chaos! That's my slight gripe with the acclaimed Bond 9 line (eg. Chez Bond vs. GIT). Cool Water, Joop, and Unforgiveable are good scents, but don't come close!!! You won't catch me smelling cheap in good clothing!

Crazy as it sounds, I really do feel more confident when I'm rocking a Creed as my SOTD. Hate to say it, but my chin raises just a little bit when I'm walking around wearing Aventus or GIT, its magic knowing that you're making a lasting impression some people that will never smell what you're wearing ever again because its so uncommon.

Gotta love street scents, another amazing video. I just purchased bottles of Creed Aventus and GIT, SO excited to get the real ones on the mail! I have sample vial o Millesime Imperial, I do get the watermelon opening, for some reason it does not seem to last long on my skin, maybe its because I didnt have a sprayer to apply it since the sample comes in a vial but I might purchase bottle. Also thinking about getting Original Vetiver, great green scent it appears which I love. Thanks Al!

Very Good Points there FLEXWHEELIR. Yeah I'll agree too, alot of their fragrances drydowns are just not strong enough or aren't really there. One of the only ones I can think of where the drydown is there or different is Virgin Island water, Original Vetitver and Selection Verte for those that have even tried that before

Very informative. I would go as far to say that every Gentleman should have GIT and Aventus. The other two, I'm not so sure about. I put fragrance on for bed and night. It effects my mood. Helps me sleep and calms me. I dont think there is a situation where a fragrance of some kind is a no go. There is always a frag for any occasion.

I haven't smelled Creed's Original Vetiver but I have Mugler Cologne and really like the scent, super super soapy fresh.

+RVAPariah They open up alike but, that's where the similarity ends. TM Cologne lasts maybe an hour or two on my skin. Creed's Original Vetiver lasts 4 to 6 hours.....at least.

I LOVE aventus in the wintertime....seriously guys try it when it cools down...the cold crisp air cools down the pineapple and smoke and brings it new life...especially a cold windy day or night. Trust me.

Its good that Creed allow you to basically interview them. I can't imagine Mugler would let you anywhere near them if their customer services are anything to go by! Although I don't rate the longevity of most Creeds on me except Aventus, they do make great smelling frags and credit to Creed for being a customer friendly outfit.

Creed may have been innovative with GIT and MI, but they heavily "borrowed" inspiration from several designers. Original Vetiver (2004), Original Santal (2005), and Himalaya (2002) smell quite similar to Thierry Mugler Cologne (2001), Mont Blanc Individuel (2003), and Paco Rabanne XS (1993) respectively.

Nice info, but i still feel Creed is just a high end designer fragrance company, not a niche one. First,Creed seems to sell fragrances by top notes, not dry down. MI, Aventus,GIT all smell good in the opening, but they just get fall in the drydown.This is true about most designer fragrances. Next, Creed markets their fragrances by naming celebrities who wear their fragrance. Again,this holds true for designer companies who pay celebrities to be the face of a new fragrance release.

Luis and Rodney are awesome. Aventus is by far my biggest compliment getter, and I have over 100 bottles in my collection.
