Street Scrapping - Leave Nothing

I have to say, that van is the nuts, I love everything about it, oh except for the fact that you have to press the key to open the back door😆 The drawers are fab and the can and you know that it has been very well looked after! The way you are filling up that baby up, you'll have that garage in no time😀👍 Onwards and upwards 😁

Liked the video 👍 Looking at the van, what I liked the most is it stacks three high which comes in handy when you find a lot of junk after you thought your van is full. I prefer to see a pic of you standing in the back of the van to get an idea of how tall it is. I remember the last van had carried a max of 500 kilos of shred to the yard. Interesting to know the max shred capacity of this van. I am sure this will be more than a ton. The racks are tailor made for the previous user. I think you need a max of 6 or 8 shelves to cater to your every need like motors, copper / brass fittings, some small valuables etc. Later as you keep using, you can decide which racks to be removed. Keep a tab on the fuel and general maintenance / oils. I wish that this van will not be hard on you for maintenance for a long time.

You've done well with that van bud, cos it was a meatwagon it would of been looked after and the drawers & light are so handy, the locked bit above the cab would be good if you leave tools in there locked up.

Oh and from one o the last comments I asked about regarding stripping the cable I got myself a wire stripping machine from Amazon £60 odd or something like that one that you can do by hand or attach a drill to it oh what a difference it was I say if you don’t have one yet then they are a must have I turned a couple o hours into 30 minutes with it. Ok it ain’t the best on the market but I got what I could afford (birthday money) lol n wow a lot better n faster I say it’s a must get bud. I am from way up north to you in a wee place named Kirkcaldy it’s in Fife “the kingdom of Fife”north of Edinburgh. I don’t usually collect scrap metal but in the last wee while I have been putting it a side and cashed it in at the end of the year. I normally do garden maintenance and the odd house clearance job but decided to try out collecting the scrap till the end of the year. So glad of it last year as all my gardening stuff got stolen. You might think you are just out doing what you do putting posts up but at the same time I am actually learning from you all the little tricks n that it’s been great to watch and learn a thing or two. You’re a star and thank you for sharing everything with us.

Apparently the best way to remove the plastic from the plugs is boil them until they are soft. I have been putting the sealed plugs to one side for now and just strip the older style. I haven't been stripping copper motors but I need to start doing it.
