As somebody who street races, I can tell u these people are completely stupid and are the ones ruining the community🤦‍♂️ What i do is dangerous but as long as you keep it on an empty highway you wont hurt anybody other than yourself. Thats how it should be not racing past traffic or doing donuts in the middle of an intersection. The main priority should ALWAYS be to avoid putting innocent drivers at risk

I in no way condone this but let's be real. They're not going to stop. Provide this group a legal place they can go to -- to do this in a safe environemt. The Fontana Speedway is only used a couple times a year for Nascar. Charge an affordable fee, and let them conduct their behavior on the track. Throwing these youngsters in jail does nothing but put a strain on resources. Police need to be responding to real ctime!

Any privately owned property will be liable for all who attend which necessitates safety and order. Judging by their conduct it's a safe bet that these kids wouldn't want to be restricted by any rules keeping them from their unrestricted fun. There are already venues that are open for trackdays and drifting, but these kids will never want to put the time, effort, and money into being allowed to utilize those courses and events. And no place will EVER just open their doors and say "bring your cars and just have at it."

In every aspect of life, there absolutey IS a small percentage that won't abide by the rules and for those, they wouldn't be attending venues such as what is being suggested. Tracks that offer "trackdays" are few and far. Open more, they obviously are continuing business for a reason. That's a broad statement to make that "these kids will never want to put the time, effort, and money into being allowed to utilize those courses and events" .... Maybe you wouldn't at their age. Times have changed. They're not all 'kids'. Just as anything else, shut this down and they will move onto something else. The issue will never be solved. We can all sit back at our desks, couches or wherever you might be and complain BUT what are any of us doing to address issues such as this? @@letsgo3755 I did a quick search and found a group that organizes weekend track days at various locations around SoCal for beginners. They run about twice a month and all you need is the entry fee and a car. They rent out helmets which makes it even easier than I expected. They are structured to have a few learning sessions with debriefs in between before opening up with normal sessions. I feel like that's a fair schedule for anyone itching to get their driving fix on. But let's look at what's going on here. Is it really what these folks want? There are different degrees to illegal activities involving cars. Some people find quiet windy backroads to get a sense of roadracing. Some find an empty two-lane or wide industrial street in the middle of the night for drags. Some will just do some donuts in the middle of an empty parking lot, which you would think might fill the appetites of those in these videos. But apparently not. That's because the experience in and of itself is not what these folks are seeking. They find the busiest most crowded traffic spots and intentionally grind everything to a stop, just so everyone is forced to give them the attention they crave. They aren't in it for the cars. They're in it for the disruption, for the tension. They're trolls. This is what they're after and, while I do contend that some could be swayed away, I'm afraid all the trackdays in the world won't stop this from happening. It's all a fad and a fashion statement. I know many people that have participated in street racing over decades and all agree that this new phenomenon is ridiculous and just plain idiotic to a degree no one could imagine.
