Feb. 5 on The Story: New laws are empowering law enforcement agencies in Oregon to hit street racers where it hurts - their wheels. On top of stiffer penalties for street racing and takeovers, police can now start criminal forfeiture proceedings so that seized vehicles might not be returned. At the same time, cops are using drones to track down the drivers who take part in these illegal events.
