Thanks both for doing these podcasts. I’m a new watcher, found the channel about a month or two ago. I watch a lot of podcasts on KZbin and have always wanted a Corrie one. Episodes are my kind of length too I listen while I’m at work or on my PlayStation etc. top job 👏🏻

1:14:25 did they ever say what happened to Sabrina? Why her and Max weren’t together anymore? I liked her, a LOT more than Lauren. Really good actress as well. Shame she’s not in it anymore.

They definitely split up - can’t remember why, but it wasn’t much of a reason. The actress has finished filming on Corrie now, but I think she may have at least one more episode filmed that we haven’t seen yet - can’t remember when she finished though!

So appreciate Gemma mentioning how a family in Gemma/Chesney's situation would actually be receiving a lot more money than they are making out due the multiple births. Aled is hearing impaired so that's disability benefits, Carys' big feet could be considered a disability? (I joke..) But If Gemma wasn't working at the pub, she could be considered a full time carer for Aled, so that's carer benefits on top. They have a fairly wealthy support network (Linda, Rita , Bernie, Dev, Billy, Jenny - Business owners, archdeacons, Linda's inherited wealth), they just aren't reflective of a normal working class family. They wouldn't be homeless or go without food if their income stopped.
