Tempura is not a Thai dish it's a Japanese dish There is some different kind of dishes made out of it What you had now it's a ebi tempura Basically ebi means prawns, tempura is kind of flour which is called tempurako And about the prawns For instance "16/20" denotes 16-20 shrimp per pound. This method is valid for fresh or frozen in the shell without the head on. The "U" designation stands for "under", meaing less-than the count per pound. For instance, "U10" means that the shrimp are large enough that less than 10 make up 1 pound. Hi Ravi and Anish, please pay surprise visit to restaurants so that you can give more genuine rating, because many restaurants these days are luring TV channels and KZbinrs to shoot and give reviews and finally when I visited such restaurants, trust me guys, most of it was trash 🤢🤮 Even meat quality was also not good in most of the restaurants. I am not writing this comment for one particular restaurant it's for all. Many people are doing review videos these days but streetbyte is doing much better, please keep it up and make sure you guys don't get cheated for someone's reputation.

Murrel is not a Sea Fish and 16 to 20 count Prawns are also pond cultured. .Please correct me if I am wrong. Surprisingly Ocean's Basket did not give you much liked Sea Fish like Pomphret Vanjram etc

Agree with murrel part. although they have mentioned their main course to be authentic, but never given detail about it's roots. Vanjiram is mostly available in South Indian states but yes if the restraunt claims if the dishes are South Indian then u are spot on . pomfret is that kind of a dish where even a 3rd grade restraunt claiming to provide sea food have on their menu. If I go to a good sea food restraunt I don't think I would order pomfret. Unless, they come up with entirely new creation.

You are absolutely rite . Prawns are mostly pond cultured . They got different varieties of sea fish along with murrel ( which is fresh water fish as u mentioned ) . In Hyderabad ppl love to have murrel . When I raised the same question with the owner . He was like RAVI we want to be exclusive but not super exclusive . Valid as they might loose the customers if they don’t have murrel and cultivated prawns .
