Regarding the hygiene comments. I have traveled to India on 3 different occasions and have eaten @ a lot of food stalls just like this. I have NEVER so much as gotten sick from eating the food. Sure the hygiene standards are not to everyone's taste, but commonsense provails. However I have eaten @ the cleanest looking stalls in Vietnam and have gotten very sick. If in doubt go and microwave your food until it's thermonuclear hot if you really want to be sure.

Great food for regulars, locals and Indians, I have eaten several times at Street stalls: place, serving guys may not be sanitary but food is fantastic. I don't get sick, may be immune & adjusted, but can't say foreigners would survive it. Things have changed in recent years, there are also stalls where they wearing gloves, head caps, in my city pani-puri can be seen being served with gloves on hand.
