Diabetes is high due to our high carbohydrate - low protein diets in India. Though consumption of very oily foods can certainly lead to hypertension, it is misleading to say that the food shown in this video leads to diabetes. The dazzling white of rabri at your pet mithai shop is prepared from Ultramarine Blue. The milk your child drinks is a combination of Urea, Liquid detergent, Sugar, Vegetable Oil and Water. Machinations by unscrupulous traders, who add baser substances and/or remove vital elements from food products to inflate profit margins, means we may be ingesting dangerous dyes, sawdust, soapstone, industrial starch, aluminium foil and- believe it or not - even horse dung with our food at times.

Can you please post Dharamtola's "Mughlai Poratha" shops.? In the 1960's there was a Chinese Restaurant (Chung Wah) on Chittaranjan avenue. It was very famous for its Prawn Cutlet, Mutton Cutlet and Fried Rice. Chinese were also famous for their Leather Shoes.

Chung Wah is still there, near Chadni Chowk Metro Stn and on the main road....This is in fact, the 1st Chinese Restaurant in the entire Indian Sub-Continent, established in 1911 Sir. It is actually famous for their Mixed Chowmein Gravy, Mutton Cutlets [Chinese Style ofc], Golden Fried Prawns and Fried Roast Pork Chilly to name a few....
