Santana got spread out to many schools, alot from Rose Spring Willow St in the south of Rosecrans went to Tibby (WSP-NHP-CBP-PBCC-SBCC), Davis (TTP/FTP/CBP/151/MBP/WSP/NHP/SBCC/PBCC/PVCC),. This was from 1980 - 1992 era... Some went to Mayo (ELM-LPP), Whaley (ELM LPP HHP LHP CAP MOB). Some went to Bunche (MPCC), some went to Emerson (US/SSCC) Roosevelt (SSCC/US/KPCC/NHCC) Lynwood High (POGC/LWD NHC/Pope St Crip/Walnut Blocc Crips/California Ave Crips/Pendleton Crips, Dominguez (LPP/HHP/ELM/MOB/LHP/SSCC/US/KPCC/NHCC.. Tanas had numbers in all schools to hold it down

I went to whaley in early 2000s. It's a trip to think about how there were so many crews n kids being gangsters from this or that gang. Fights almost every day. Gangs was the politics in the schools and they aspired not to be doctors n lawyers, but to gang bang. I think because that is what we were all surrounded n submerged in it. when i went back found out people I used to hang with r dead or locked up. Lucky my family moved from there. It's probably not all that bad as it used to be. Society is getting better. Sometimes I wonder how different I would be if I had stayed there.

I do remember. We had just moved from Compton a month before it happened. I was a kid now living in SE Lynwood throwing a Frisbee with a friend and out of nowhere we hear this loud boom. His mom drove us over there a few minutes later. It was sad knowing nobody aboard survived, and seeing that twisted chopper sprawled out in a park I played in many times.
