The Samoans moved into the Willmington arms when the mormans who were living there in the 50's-70's moved out. They gave them to somaon families because they were missionaries there etc. and were racist and didn't want to live with black families. Those projects at one time up until the early 80's were the most desiarable public housing in LA county aside from the Harbor Hills projects in Lomita

Cap. I was born in the ville and my family been there since the 60s. Wacc side wasn't even built until late 70s. You not even from the ville so you shouldn't speak on the ville.

This was an interesting first part of the interview. Being that the brotha had a nuclear family unit and him being the one to represent a neighborhood/section I wonder were that stemed from? I understand meeting people in the environment you grow up in & forming friendships. I just don't understand of joining a neighborhood/section when both parents are in the home?

Do you really think someone in a family that big got the love and attention he needed to not seek it elsewhere? Prob not.

@@mr.hudgins1021 I appreciate the response and clarification. Being that they don't come from a broken home what would lead an individual to represent a neighborhood/section?

A excellent interview, I love to see my people, that have parents in the house. A lot of times, the world, forget our community, is not just single parent households. They like to paint that picture, but always remember, before the 60s, our community wasn't flooded with guns and cheap cocaine. You mix that with poverty, boom. We try to tell them, we're all on this together, they didn't listen, now you have a opiate crisis. You do dirt, you get dirt. PEACE 7
