A couple corrections. The shoes have an encapsulated Nike Air unit. Zoom Air began with the XII. The Jumpman returns the correct way with him facing toward the toe. The direction of the Jumpman changed in 2006 starting with the DMP XI of 2006. The 45 XI was worn on court by MJ in the 1995 NBA Playoffs. He wore the 23 version in the movie so it more closely resembles the Playoff pair more so over the movie Space Jam. I'll have my review up on my channel when the shoes release my way.

The jumpman originally faced the front of the shoe. They changed it in like 06 i believe and made them always face right. They're going back to the OG look just like the patent leather cut.

IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW MJ Wore THE 11's for the first time was game 2 against the Magic In the 1995 semifinals, the concords. THE NBA FINED HIM FOR WEARING THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT IN REGULATIONS. He switched to 23 and wore the 11's and dropped 43 points on the Magic because he lost the first game and Nick ANDERSON WAS TALKING SHIT ABOUT HIS RUSTY PLAY. So THE REST OF THE SERIES HE WORE PENNY HARDAWAY SHOES AND THE LAST 2 games of the series he wore these particular color way. If You WATCH GAME 4 and 5 he is wearing the SPACE JAM. I didn't research this is based ON PURE MEMORY BECAUSE I WATCHED THISE GAMES BACK IN THE DAY.

The reason the Jumpman is facing the opposite direction on the left shoe is because that's how the original pairs released in the '90's. They didn't change the direction of the Jumpman until the '00 pairs started releasing.

quality gone up but really not feeling the enlarged toe boxes on JB the past 2-3 years. tough to see here cuz they're a small size but very noticeable if you compare an OG XI to these new retros. OG is a sharper outline up front. these definitely with the more "lifestyle" look. So bulky compared to the classics. those icy soles on point tho

If you notice, the patent leather is raw or untreated where it is sewn to the shoe. You see a thin white trim on the top of the patent leather. The originals had this so Nike kept it the same. All the other 11's releases the trim is colored.

Retrospective when you look to the amazing box, the OG details and the beautiful OG patten leather cut, this have been the best Retro Releases since got his first Jordan 1! Period. And when you look what Nike did in 22 and what they do in 23, I would be surprised, if any upcoming release will ever be able to put the 2016 Space Jam from the Thron.
