The other night, DC and I were talking about how beautiful Parrish's diction is. He doesn't miss a syllable and you can hear that he went to a good school. Now, as a man nearing a certain age, he's more measured and even better with his instrument. We were lucky to grow up on this at 12. This is real hip hop.

What?! Without hearing the original version he’s referring to, which I have, everything P is saying makes no sense to anyone but himself. After all that talking I’m STILL not sure what happened. 🤦🏽‍♂️LL was mad about that “What’s up with that sucka LL..” part? And… what, he didn’t do the video because of it? He changed his lyrics to dis P? I DON’T GET IT.

If you wasn't around for the era then you wouldn't get it. Yes, LL was mad about that part. Back in the days of hip-hop, if you mentioned another rappers name in a negative fashion (i.e calling them a sucka) then the beef was on, especially for an emcee like LL. Check LL's track record with rap beefs. If he felt like you disrespected, even in the least bit, then he was on it like that.

@@caryweight728 I was around for the era. My point was the situation as a whole was explained very poorly.

@@donguapisimo4222 how so? He said exactly what happened and I get it. He made a beat, he was linked up with LL, he dropped a verse that LL took as disrespect, and then LL changed his verse to dis him. The same thing happened between him and cannibus on the 4321 song which started their rap beef .What's hard to get?
