Oh it’s you again lol. Here I can tell you with certainty that the “poking fingers” is actually a perfectly valid and common technique in Thai massage (which is what this guy looks like he’s at least inspired by) and is used to work sen (energy) lines. Compressions and thumb/finger walking are how you have to work through clothes. The rhythmic nature of it is actually really relaxing and therapeutic especially when a trigger point is hit.

Also, I look for a systematic approach, and I just don't see that in a lot of these street massages. They are just hodge podge. @@Thinks-First dude I’m a massage therapist, no need to link me to a standard 50 min Swedish massage. I do several of them four days out of the week. Obviously she’s gonna be able to do gliding strokes because the client is unclothed and on a table. You can’t exactly do that in the middle of the street. There is no “perhaps I am right”. I AM right; I have extensive training in both Swedish and Thai massage. You can’t argue that this is not massage. It objectively is. As a matter of fact, the style of massage shown here predates Swedish massage by a few thousand years.
