Dunkeld MTB trails | Birnam Hill

This MTB Vlog was shot in Dunkeld in August 2019. The majority of the riding took place on Birnam Hill where I have collected footage of trails called Pink Floyd, Rake and Ruin and Dan's Trail.
The trails on Birnam Hill were incredibly fast and the speed made it pretty scary. The terrain is also really techy, with a mix of rock, mud and roots to catch you off guard.
I have also included footage of a trail called Hush Hus which lies on the other side of Dunkeld.

The footage was captured on a GoPro Hero 7 at 4k 30fps using superview. All editing was completed using Filmora 9.

Aye. The speed of those trails was a total shock to the system! I'd watched some vids and they looked tame. They weren't 😂

Dunkeld is great, was there last weekend. You need to get up to the Mast and the Rudder, and all the others on that side of the town.

@@streetpigeonmtb, I got a good deal on an Orbea Rallon M-Team from lbs. Still way more pricey than the Bird but it was nice to put money their way on this occasion. Taking loyalty out the equation it would have been an AM9 for sure.

Only ridden athol hill . Got a lot to offer does dunkeld & birnam. Pitlochrie is also worth a visit for trails and Ben Vrackie

Honestly, it's up there. I only caught a limited number of trails. There are actually 4 different areas around Dunkeld. Hermitage, Atholl Hill, The Mast and Birnam Hill. I think between them they offer variation not many places can compete with. Also, if you want to check out what might be most difficult trail in Scotland check out Dunkeld Blue Trail. I didn't even attempt it 👌💩
