YO~ That was *clean!* Hardest difficulty, no damage even once no matter how tight some spots were! I know I'm just spouting the obvious, but still, to relive my childhood (I mained Max too) with this man basically All Mighting everybody so fluidly! Throw this guy over the other guy nonstop just like that, and again no damage--this is what invincibility looks like! This is how I would've loved to play through the whole game when I was still a child.

With max, you can use the pipe and sword! You don't have to turn around to hit the opponent! It strikes them as they get too close to your back. Only with max though

I haven't played this game with my kids in years, so it was great to see it again. Whoever it was playing with Max (and I chose Max most of the time) in this game was awesome and an absolutely kick-ass! Not once was Max hit, lose a life or hardly picked up a weapon. He didn't even have to eat to live! I am impressed; that was so cool, and on the hardest level, too!

Max was my favorite character. He would've been too slow to be practical, if not for his ridiculously OP slide-kick. He could spam it to travel across the board almost as fast as Skate, and because of it's temp-invulnerability and hit pattern, you could slide into an enemy and immediately grab and body slam them. One of the very rare situations where the 'Slow & Heavy' is great, if not the best.

Max is powerful making him good for battling big bosses despite being slow. Especially Zamza, stage 3 boss, Bear the boxer, stage 5 boss and Abadede, stage 4 boss.

@@sirtieman I noticed that Max is consistently top-tier in every single game he appears in: 2, Remake and 4 give him strengths that makes him surpass almost everybody else! Despite being the slow, but strong archetype, Max has always been overpowered in some way in whatever game he is playable in!

Just a suggestion try the Elbow drop more often you can do backbreakers more because that's Max's way of getting behind opponents he uses the elbow drop for getting behind opponents if you time it correctly you can do a back breaker almost every time.

How much positioning practice does this need? I never really looked at positioning. Guess this is one of the reasons why i always lost in the 8th level. So you have to know position weaknesses of your enemies in this game too. Can one win it on "hardest" just by "playing"? I mean without really, really sophisticated tricks? We´ll see.

Different version of the game. Grabs might be impossible on the claw enemies in the US version. If not they may as well be.

What's even more wierd is that in some sections when enemies get close to him they don't attack and just stand there like dumb idiots. When I play even on normal difficulty, if you give enemies a slight opening to attack they'll quickly go for a jab

@hamedsaffari2280 I can guarantee and assure you that absolutely nothing was edited in my Longplay video. The only thing which I added in my Longplay video is the Watermark which shows my KZbin Username. Anyway, a STATIONARY special attack only drains your life if you hit an enemy with it, a DIRECTED special attack always drains your life. I did not use the STATIONARY or the DIRECTED special attack on the enemies in my Longplay videos of Streets of Rage 2. The bullets, special attacks or shurikens from the enemies will not hit you, if you use the STATIONARY special attack when you are about to get hit. All the oldschool and experienced players know these tricks.

@hamedsaffari2280 You mean "Abadede", the boss of Stage 4. You can do an attack combo on him "SOMETIMES" and not always since he does an enraged muscle flex to counter attacks. If you have noticed, I have performed Max's grappling moves most of the time while I was fighting him.

Never heard of it for Genesis gaming, for that I keep hearing about Kega Fusion and Genesis Plus GX. used to use SSF, and was thinking about looking into Mednafen for Saturn emulation. Lately I do most of my Genesis gaming on an 2018 Atgames Legends I bought on clearance for 20 dollars. I believe it uses Genesis GX Plus. Loaded it up with the Steam Genesis and Megadrive rom collection I bought for 10 a few Christmas's ago. A clone Genesis system for 30 bucks, including clone gamepads. Not a bad deal.

@Doc Savage Yes, it's the famous and original Sega Saturn Emulator alongside Sony PlayStation, Nintendo Virtual Boy, and NEC PC Engine (known as TurboGrafx-16 in North America). Mednafen emulates the Sega Mega Drive / Sega Genesis platform also. Its core is based on Genesis Plus GX.
