Ya know, for some strange reason I see Adam as one of those supportive but protective dads. Like after the end of the game, he is teasing Axel and Blaze for bringing Cherry into all this and at the same time saying how proud he is to Cherry for keeping the Hunter family tradition of kicking ass and taking names.

@@agriosbr After finishing the game, I hate most of the enemies in this game aside from the basic ones from the first level. Every enemy seems to have their own annoyance about them. Like the black dude with the gun who runs away and tries to line up with you. The skinny girl who jump kicks you. The knife guy who charges at you then hides in the bottom left corner making it hard to hit him. The skinny girl who throws grenades and flasks. The fat guys who roll at you then laugh. Ugh I fuckin hate every enemy and I was only playing on normal lol

Matthew Berrios most of them are alright once you know their workarounds. Hated the shield dudes, but if you single them out/hit and run, they’re not too bad. Karate guys were a huge annoyance. Learned that they can’t deal with throws, then they became ok.

I'm currently up to stage 9 in story mode on mania and those Muay Thai fighters in the sauna are wrecking me! The fact that story mode resets your lives each level means I start with a maximum of two lives.

If you're a beat-em-up fan or an SOR fan from the previous games , it's easy to get up to speed with SOR4 really quickly as the controls are similar, and some of the returning enemies have the same old tricks. The rest is all about learning the new enemy attack patterns and knowing when to be PATIENT. Avoiding damage is just as important as dishing it out. Also Adam is a solid pick for playing the higher difficulties, he's a good all-rounder like Axel. But more crucially, Adam has that forward-forward dash which helps him close distances quickly to avoid threats or to pick off a weakened foe. Blaze and Axel, the two other popular choices for harder difficulties, can't dash.

@@xXSolBadguyXx Also Adam's charge attack, front kick, can help close the distance really fast. Depending on your distance from the enemy you can get a hit from the front kick and at least one more from his forwardx2 +attack. I've managed to do it from time to time.

no please no more DLC...the video game industry got ruined by this DLC system...but this Streets of Rage 4 gives you free char by finishing the story mode like the old good days when you had to complete some challenges to unlock new chars and goodies instead of today's stupid system when they sell you a demo of a game and you have to pay more money TO GET new chars or any other goodies related to that game...i hope this game every new char or goodies will be free to unlock and NOT a dlc.....and also i hope that they add Max(SOR 4 version) to the roster later on..

While fighting shielded policemen with Adam, you can use forward dash techinique - Hit him regularly with a maximum of 3x then forward dash before he attacks then 3x regular attacks again. After 2 dashes with each 3 regular attacks each, then the shield will surely break

You know you can just jump to avoid most of the aoe blast moves? Like the final boss smashes or the stomps skullface dudes? You can also standing jump attack without moving to avoid the shield guys attacks. Just in case you want an easier time in future runs 😉

they did the xbox version dirty. After seeing this gameplay. Missing video options. The combo counter resets waay faster if u dont hit someone on xbox. the boss girl with the whip and the annoying jump kick girls both scream like men when u defeat them lol..
