I grew up in Oakland in the 80's It breaks my heart 💔 what it becomes nowadays. Blame it the high positions, governments, officials, Mayor and Newsome its very sad. They need to do something about Oakland, CA (homelessness, mentality, jobs, drugs and help the community instead outside the country.

To be clear, this is a very specific part of Oakland. Not calling that out makes this video pretty dishonest. I live several block from this area and everyone from Oakland watching this would know this guy is walking around a very small area compared to the actual size of Oakland. Get your facts straight and film more honestly. Walking up and down International and 7th street portraying that THAT is what all of Oakland looks like is dishonest. Oakland ain’t what it used to be but these are pockets of the city. Berkeley, SF…all have the same extreme pockets. But hey….whatever it takes to get views and keep the gentrifiers out of my city cause their arrival was the beginning of the downfall.

One problem about dumping, it does not come from the peoplel of Oakland. We have a lot of people who come from different counties and use certain places in the city to dump. The city or government does not give a dam about the homeless. The only city that is really helping the homeless is San Jose. The major is really on his job. People who live in the city really do not have to dump anywhere. The city will pick up item you want to get rid of. You just need to arrange for you items to be picked up. However, the constant dumping is a real problem.
