Ain't nobody got time for this. If it's not assembled when it arrives I will stay with my bike. I wanted one so bad but there is no way I am doing this.

Thanks, the instructions are pretty terrible that came with the bike. Instead of a nut on one side of the rear wheel, there are three washers and because of that I wasn't able to get the wheel on so I had to take off one of the washers. I hope it's not going to be wobbly now or else I'll need to make a trip to home depot.

If you have arthritis,can you take this bike to a bike shop to have them assemble it?

Jill, a competent bike shop that is familiar with recumbent trikes and internal gear hubs should be able to help and be able to assemble your strider.

@@davekraus2309 No they won't. Called several bike shops in the area and they wont touch it.

My front break lines come out out the front tube beneath the hinge. That is different from what the video shows. The break splitter is at the hinge. Any tips on this phase of the assembly?? Thanks

Mine does the same thing comes out the front any tips can't figure this part out

One thing I noticed. You failed to lubricate the front beam tapered roller bearings by properly packing them with a quality NLGI-2 bearing grease. This grease is the same as a person would use on automotive wheel bearings. It may seem to be overkill but in all probability it will be the only time it ever gets serviced, hence the use of a long life heavy duty grease.

I need help...for some reason my chain keeps coming lose as soon as I start riding. For some reason the yellow piece will not stay in place after I’ve tightened the nuts...what can I do?

kenneth alexander is your pulley assembly in correctly? When I put mine together, I spent a frustrating hour trying to get the lock to actually lock and keep the pulley in place. I finally figured out there was a plastic ring - some kind of protector, maybe? - keeping it from sitting flush. Once I removed that piece, everything fit perfectly and it locked in. When you put the drops onto the axle, are the “non-turn” washers in the groove of the drops? Did you pull the wheel far enough back so the chain is tight? Those are the only things I can think of that would cause your chain to come loose. I hope I helped!

WTH... it cuts off before you finish for the 7i

The only thing left to do at the end of the 7i wheel installation is to lightly snug the axle acorn nuts by hand. Instructions for tightening the chain, connecting the shifter cable, and adjusting the brakes for the 7i rear wheel are in subsequent sections.

David Kraus alrighty! Thank you! And as soon as I finished putting everything together, minus the shifter, my younger brother was riding it and somehow the chain slipped off the front sprocket and bent it as well as destroying the plastic shield attached to it, so now I get to fix that before we can use it, haha
