I'm still trying to decide between the 40 vs 42mm. My Hamilton watches are 42, with a 49mm lug to lug. Few other brands are about the same. 40 to 42 watches. I have a 7.5 wrist. But then I just read lug to lug is 51 on this 3133/CO42LAB? Anyhow... Just need to decide 40 vs 42. It's tough. I like that the 3133 movement is in the 42.

I really get this. It does wear bigger than some watches of similar diameter. It’s comfortable for me, though, with a 7” wrist, but I have a flat/wide shaped wrist. It looks bigger in the video than it does in person. Watches tend to photograph that way. I always used to aim for 42mm but then I got a 41mm watch and love it, and then a 40mm watch and it’s amazing. I love 42 but now I love 40 too. So in your shoes I’d be debating it, too. Let me know what you choose!

@@AutomaticReviewsOfficial yes, I'm in the same boat. I like 40 to 42. Not into under 40 too much, and definitely don't like anything above 42 size. But man!!! The movement in the 42 is more enticing as well.

@@MichaelKeelphotography I have a 44mm pilot style watch that I love, and 43mm divers, but I really do prefer that 40-42mm sweet spot, for most watches. Learning I can love 40mm has opened my mind to trying as low as 38mm now, though as there are a lot of really nice watches out there at that size and I always assumed they’d be *way* too small. That said, we can adapt and learn to try new sizes and it opens a lot of doors. It’s definitely cool to explore.
