Very interesting, thank you. One suggestion: Plz add subtitles, especially for the interviewer who speaks fast and doesn't always enunciate clearly.

Nice work. First off, DR you didn't talk about me. This seems wrong and puts me in threat so that I have to compensate by writing a post. Second, positive thinking does not change the outcome in some way but proper positive thinking can re frame the threat and take its power away. Think Stockdale Paradox. When I feel threat because I am late to pick up my kid from school and I know that kids going to be mad, teachers may think I am a bad parent, spouse is going to lecture me about being more responsible etc we can enter a threat response. We respond as if the tribe of caveman days may vote us out of the group meaning certain death alone. So as that response gears up we compound it by heavy traffic frustration, or a work call comes in about something else. This can cause not just threat response but even a minor disassociation. Being positive alone wont reduce this because we cannot full our subconscious mind, however, framing the truth can. Will our child really stop loving us? Will our spouse leave us? Does it really matter what a teacher may think in that moment? In short, its not a truly mortal event. So we need to pull out of threat response and frame the moment as it truly is instead of riding that thought train of false narratives to our undoing. This is the result of our Histrionic culture we have developed.
