Hey guys, again: PLEASE LIKE THIS COMMENT - every follower should see it! We are not perfect. And our battles are not perfect. We are a small crew of enthusiasts trying our best to deliver exceptional strength battles. We know we have shortcommings: - programm design - judging - rules - to some degree execution BUT: We are working hard to deliver better results every couple of battles. Sometimes it works. Sometimes not. And sometimes you just don't have the head to head battles everyone is wishing for. It's like boxing. Sometimes you wait for a big fight and see 2 rounds and a weird K.O. Though this is not the case in this battle, Angelo, who is a worldclass athlete and an exceptional personality, had a bad strategy which turned out to break his neck and make the battle somewhat borning compared to Tetzel VS Johannes for example, which is in my reality the greatest battle so far in terms of tension and emotions. We will see both again in Strength Wars, that's for sure. Thanks for following us! Konrad in the name of Team BBRev

+Anagramrice The powerlifter does not do pull ups in comp either. So I have no clue why you brought that up. While it's true that bench is powerlifting exclusive and I would concede the advantage here, one would hope that the strongman is somewhat used to pressing.

I think Angelo should be more patient and wait for about 5 minutes on that last 1 rep of the bench, instead of rushing it and doing wasted trials, which drained all of his gas. :)

I agree that Thomas did not pushed appropriate+ For Angelo it was much harder, because he did it with full foots on ground like you suppose to do, otherwise you can help with legs.. So I am a bit disappointed for his win.
@Aaron988
@Aaron988 9 жыл бұрын
Exactly, the first three reps weren't even half reps. If those counted, than most of Angelo's near-fails should have been counted as well. I am very disappointed by that, because usually the judging on strength wars is pretty good.

+Dennis Kaplanek Jep.
@marek4848
@marek4848 9 жыл бұрын

BADASS There are a lot of strong guys out there, saying he is using fake weights. If I remember correctly, somebody offered him 1000 dollars to compete at a meet and he refused. I've been thinking, if both could lift the same weight, and to be declared as a winner one has to complete all the reps faster than the other, then maybe it's not a strength war, but instead. a durability war? Maybe the more suitable thing to do in a strength war is something like they have in the world's strongest man competition, where the winner is the one who lifts the most weight. No offense though I really like your channel and your vids are awesome, just an opinion.

grief hawk i cant but i havent been training as long and im not as big. also im not british. and all he had to do was rest 10-20sec long and he woulda made tht rep. but hes wasnt smart enough to rest he just kept rushing it. thats whats hilarious.

+zaah haaz You have no idea what its like to lift heavy for high reps. When you're lifting heavy for reps, you get muscle exhaustion, which will in case cause getting stuck on your final reps. So how about you do some research before you talk shit.

bee Man There is "no rest" in strength wars in this case. He knew coming into this that he needed to try and get as much done as fast as possible to win. Although he did rush, which I'm agreeing with you, that still doesn't validate the fact peoples muscles don't get exhausted. That's exactly what happened, he rushed too fast which caused him to lose the stamina to finish. He's a strongman (from what I remember, I haven't watched the video since I first commented), so they don't build stamina, they obviously build strength.

I Appreciate everything you guys say and do but honestly you don't have to explain yourself at all. At the end of the day we are here to be entertained and to learn so if every match is going to be on point then that in its self is boring and I wouldn't want to watch it. I love the editing coz I'm into that as well. The music is on point everything feels exactly the way it should. Keep up the amazing work and we support you all the way guys!

@Eminem1972LB 9 жыл бұрын

I've never been a fan of traditional sports like baseball, soccer, or football; but I finally understand the excitement they get when watching sports. I couldn't help but yell out "Come one! Come on!" when they were benching. It's like I was actually helping them get through their final reps.

bench pressing 20x140kg is ridiculous... They should've known that. In episode #3 they did 20x100kg, which was way too light, so I understand they kicked it up a notch. However, 120kg would've been best I think.
