Interesting. I have done my own study, but am finding stress and displacement data to be linear. I keep wondering why this is and if it has anything to do with the Linear material setting. I have been wondering why Creo uses this as the default for the legacy materials also. I assume it is a 'good enough' in most cases, but I am not too sure

Hi, I think all 4 Von Mises's Stess aren't different in reality, since σ = F / Area. Where we will see differences is in the strain ε since σ = E.ε and those 4 materials have 4 different modulus of elasticity E.

Hii Vladimir, great Job. I appreciate the efforts taken. But can I know the models which you use in creo for simulation, where to get those part files or any such resource, such that I can practice while watching the video.. Thanks.❤

Hi, I am using grabcad.com and also cgtrader.com Good luck with your project. Vladimir

Hello Vladimir. I may have one request (if possible): Would you, please, make a video showing how to make a plane (original datum plane or later created plane) visible. If I have an assembly that consist of many parts and I want to show/activate only one plane of a part that comprises my assembly - how can I do that? I find it extremely complicated. For example, in Autodesk Inventor, I can simply choose part in my assembly, then choose the plane of interest and show/activate/highlight it. This will be of great help. Hopefully you can show me the way.

Hello Sergey, thanks for your question. I am absolutely with you that sometimes is very hard to select exact plane in the assembly. I will try to find some example / solution for this. Stay tuned and have a nice day. Vladimir

@@4kside Thanks a lot. You are doing a great job. Keep it up! I find Creo as a very good software, but a but complicated compared to Inventor - so there is a reason of reaching out and asking for help. Have a nice day you too. Best, Sergey

Hey Sergey! I would suggest one quick tip for you to use in future. Name your datum planes with a unique assignment like say for example XY_001 for part 01 and XY_002 for part 2. If you search 001 or 002 in your model tree, it will highlight the planes ur looking for in green with other parts in grey. Its been extremely useful for me as well since I do lot of top down design that makes use of datum planes and axes.
