LA had 600 murders back in the 80’s and 90’s without the influence of all the street music influencing it. It was just that way from gangs. LA has grown and learned that all that killing isn’t good.

Higher murder rates make a city less gangster because there's no stucture. You could have bodies but be broke or make money avoiding beef
