The first perm rod set I’ve seen that makes me want to try it. I usually see really tight curl results. I will be trying this.

Her hair texture is loose, so her curls will be looser/longer in length right after styling. Just a heads up!

@@AmbitouslyAmber but if you use bigger perm rods, that's gives a looser curl. Then the drying process she did with the perm rods taken out but still in the twists, so that helps with stretching the hair as well. You're right it still has some dependencies on her natural curl pattern, but those stops can at least make this a bit closer to replicate.

Something you should look into that would help control your ends better, are end papers that are made for perms. They help out a lot.

It came out really nice , but why flat twist the roots prior to putting the perm rod? Does it help prevent puffy roots?

Yes helps prevents puffy / tighter curled roots for the girls with a tighter curl pattern than hers. Helps it blend better with the perm rod curl. Also gives more length. Hopefully that makes sense
