Stretchin' Dollars ~ Fall Thrifting Haul

Hey y'all!
Today, I am bringing y'all with me on a fun, fall thrifting trip! My main goal for this trip was to find some cute fall decor and some clothing for the upcoming cold weather! It was 99cent day at my local Goodwill, so I was able to find some really great deals. I really stretched my dollar on this trip!
I hope y'all enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it. I also hope this inspires y'all to go out to your local thrift stores to search for some deals. Thrifting is such a great way to save money as well as an easy way to find quality items. New clothing these days is made so cheaply, so thrifting vintage or older items gives you the opportunity to find great quality at a cheap price!

I have been thrifting for over 50 years and have enjoyed every moment of it. The beauty of it is you never know what you are going to find and at bargain prices too boot. I mostly thrifted jewelry, dishes and home decor items over the years.

My first time watching you! I enjoyed this video so much! I’m a retired teacher and I do have the thrifting bug. It’s a favorite pastime for me and spending more time with my grandkids! I love cookbooks better than I do cooking, though!😂 You seem to have a fun personality and sweet spirit! I hope your channel continues to grow!

Brava to you for thrifting! I used to shop at Goodwill, too, until a couple of years ago when I discovered the Big Cheeses at GW make somewhere between $200 thousand and 1 million dollars per year (depending on what internet search you do). I also found out that employees with disabilities are often paid less than minimum wage (as low as 22 cents per hour), whistleblowers have been fired, and safety issues have led to tragedy. Now my fave thrift store is The Humane Society Thrift Store, also the fave of all our town which voted it the Best Thrift Store - even against GW! We also have thrift stores for hospice, Teen Challenge, and other local charities. I try to be even more ethical about where my little money goes.
